Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Welcome to Shaolin Worldwide. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of www.shaolinww.com (the "Site") and everything we offer through it: online courses and digital content, live online classes, retreats and training camps, enrollment services for partner martial arts schools, and physical merchandise. By using the Site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
"Shaolin Worldwide", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Shaolin Worldwide, operator of this Site. Our store is hosted on Shopify. Contact: support@shaolinww.com.
2. Eligibility
By using the Site you confirm you are at least the age of majority where you live, or that a parent or guardian has consented to your use. Minors may only enroll in training programs with a guardian's participation or written consent, and some partner schools have their own age requirements.
3. Health, fitness and assumption of risk
Martial arts training is physically demanding and carries inherent risk of injury. This applies to in person training at retreats, camps and schools, and equally to training you do at home while following our online courses and classes.
- Consult a physician before beginning any training program, especially if you have any medical condition, injury, or are pregnant.
- You are responsible for training within your own limits and for your training environment. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
- You agree to disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries and dietary needs when applying for in person programs.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risk arising from your participation in training, and we may require you to sign a separate liability waiver before in person events.
Nothing on this Site is medical advice. Content about health, Qi Gong, traditional practice or wellbeing is educational only.
4. Retreats, camps and school enrollment
- Places on retreats, camps and intensives are limited and are reserved by non refundable deposits or application fees as described in our Refund Policy.
- For our partner martial arts schools in China, Shaolin Worldwide acts as an enrollment partner: we handle applications, communication and initial payments (enrollment fees and tuition deposits). The schools themselves are independent institutions that we do not own or operate. Your training, accommodation and daily life at a school are provided by the school and governed by its rules, schedule and policies.
- Remaining tuition balances are paid by you directly to the school. Deposits you pay us are credited toward tuition.
- Travel, flights, visas, vaccinations and travel or health insurance are your responsibility. We provide guidance in good faith, but we are not a visa agency and cannot guarantee visa outcomes.
- Schedules, instructors and program details may change for reasons outside our control, including weather, regulations and school decisions. We will always try to offer a fair alternative.
- You agree to follow the rules and code of conduct of any school or venue you train at. Serious misconduct can result in dismissal from a program without refund.
5. Online courses and digital content
- When you purchase a course, ebook or other digital product, we grant you a personal, non transferable, non exclusive license to access it for your own private study, for as long as we offer the product.
- You may not share, resell, redistribute, publicly screen, or upload our content elsewhere, and you may not share account access. We may suspend access for violations.
- All content on this Site, including videos, courses, text, photography and branding, is owned by Shaolin Worldwide or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law.
- Digital purchases are non refundable, as set out in the Refund Policy.
6. Prices, payments and errors
All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Prices and offerings may change at any time without notice. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where a listing contains a pricing or description error; if we cancel a paid order for such a reason, you will be refunded. You agree to provide accurate, current billing and contact information.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, to transmit malware, to scrape or harvest data, to harass anyone, or to interfere with the Site's security or operation. We may terminate access for violations.
8. User submissions
If you send us reviews, testimonials, photos, ideas or other material, you grant us a perpetual, royalty free license to use, edit and publish it in any medium. Do not send anything that infringes others' rights, and never post private information about another person.
9. Third party services and links
The Site may include third party tools, embeds and links (for example YouTube videos, WhatsApp, payment providers and application forms). These are provided as is; we are not responsible for third party content, services or policies, and your use of them is at your own risk.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all products and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, or that results from training will meet your expectations.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shaolin Worldwide and its officers, employees, partners, instructors, agents and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, or for personal injury arising from your voluntary participation in physical training, arising out of your use of the Site, our products or our services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shaolin Worldwide and its affiliates, officers, employees and partners from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third party right.
13. Termination and severability
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services at any time for violation of these Terms; obligations incurred before termination survive it. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
